Latest firmware version for EK1 devices > FAQ

We'd like to announce that EK1 devices have been updated as below.
1. EK1PRO
    Version : 1.91
      1) Serial Mode added for android APP and DCT 8A/T tuning
      2) Added TAD801 (8A/T gearbox) OBD sensor data list
    Version : 1.81
    1) GPS values are added when user make log file if GPS is plugged.
      ** Customer will be able to see GPS chart via our new android APP in near future.
    2) Bench Reading Process has been improved
        Siemens 250/260 new protocol is no longer to read ECU if customer doesn't connect to ECU via a bench cable.
        So, customer protect customer's mistake and to be able to prevent inconvenience.
2. EK1Lite
    Version : 1.42
      1) Included a QR code that allows system information to be added via the iPhone app
    Version : 1.39
    1) Bench Reading Process has been improved
        Siemens 250/260 new protocol is no longer to read ECU if customer doesn't connect to ECU via a bench cable.
        So, customer protect customer's mistake and to be able to prevent inconvenience.
3. EK1Mini2+
    Version : 1.33
      1) Serial Mode added for android APP and DCT 8A/T tuning
      2) Added TAD801 (8A/T gearbox) OBD sensor data list
    Version : 1.25
    1) Some messages have been added in order to guide correct processing for ECU writing.
    2) Bench Reading Process has been improved
        Siemens 250/260 new protocol is no longer to read ECU if customer doesn't connect to ECU via a bench cable.
        So, customer protect customer's mistake and to be able to prevent inconvenience.
If your tuning company or a tuner asks you to verify your ECU software ID, please use "Power Mode > Read ECU ID" instead of "Read ECU"
