Hello,
We need real ECU one time to support 2024 version.
Because we need to open and read data one time.
Thank you

Thank you for the response! Will any ECU / TCU for this model year work? If I was able to purchase a used module can I send it to you guys to get the data from?

Yes it will be okay if you can send us same year ECU as used one.

Does this apply to both the ECU and TCU? Also do they have to be from the same spec vehicle as mine? (3.3L AWD Sport Prestige)

TCU software can be read without any action. Try to read your TCU now.
Only ECU is needed to be open one time on our side.

-Is the process destructive to the module?
-Will there be obvious signs the module has been opened / tampered with? (for manufacturer warranty)
-How long would the process take if I sent my module?
This is my only vehicle so downtime is rather inconvenient and a quick search didn't reveal any ECUs for my model year on the used market. I suppose I could purchase a new ECU from the dealer but that would be a minimum of $1000.
I am comfortable with opening modules and performing repairs / modifications to PCBs and have all the equipment to do so. If the process of reading the data you need is fairly straightforward, I could purchase the device, read the data, and send you any data recovered.
I'm open to communicating through email, text, or any other means!

You ever hear back from them on this message?
I have a 25' G70 3.3 and reached out a few times now over the last couple months but I hit a dead end around this point every time. They said they need my ECU but haven't given guidance on how to get it to them, or how long it'll actually be needed. I have a backup vehicle luckily but I can't even get anyone here to follow through to the point of getting the ecu to them. Kinda concerning tbh

Can you take a picture of label sticker on your ECU?

1.. Shipping to Korea : 4~7 business days (depends on logistics)
2. Reading the ECU : 1 day
3. Return to U.S : 4~7 business days (depends on logistics)
EK1 will add the G70 modelyear while the ECU will be returned back to you.
