Tuning Process with EK1 device

We'd like to guide you about tuning process from purchase to setting following steps as below.

1. Purchase EK1 device

2. Fully update firmware

      * If you can install EK1Tool software on your windows PC, it would be also easy to update all

3. Shall we now take a look at the methods for tuning?
      ## The tuning process varies depending on the type of ECU.
      1) 2018~2023 [2.0 T-GDI ElantraN, KonaN, VelosterN..]
          -> a) Navigate Power Mode > Read ECU ID > Choose your ECU type > Siemens SIM2K-250[BL]
              b) Get a patch file, original file that is matched to your ECU ID in ek1tuning.com File DB menu
      2) 2024~2025 [2.0 T-GDI ElantraN]
          -> Navigate Power Mode > Read ECU > Choose your ECU type > Siemens SIM2K-250[BL]
              Read ECU with a bench cable directly, no needed patch job
      3) 2016~2018 [1.6T-GDI Elantra AD]
          -> Navigate Power Mode > Read ECU > Choose your ECU type > Kefico CPEGD2.20.1           
      4) 2016~2023 [1.6T-GDI Elantra GT / i30PD N-Line]
          -> Navigate Power Mode > Read ECU > Choose your ECU type > Kefico CPEGD2.20.1 Low Speed
      5) 2018~2021 [1.6T-GDI K3 GT / Veloster JS 1.6T]
          -> Navigate Power Mode > Read ECU > Choose your ECU type > Kefico CPEGD2.20.3/4
      6) 2020~2025 [1.6T SmartStrea Elantra CN7]
          -> Navigate Power Mode > Read ECU > Choose your ECU type > Kefico CPEGD3.20.1

4. Shall we now take a look at the methods for tuning?
        1) Copy a tuning file to SDcard [EK1 deivce folder\Maps]
        2) Navigate Power Mode > Wrtie ECU > reselect the protocol that was used when you read the ECU.
        3) Check engine start

5. Logging ECU
