Do I need to purchase the Bench Cable?

Hello, I got the HPFP recall on my 2022 Elantra N done in November 2024 and purchased the EK1 device in December 2025. Despite the device stating that I need a bench harness to read my ECU calibration ID, I was able to read it and got the ID in the attached picture. Please let me know if this Calibration ID is accurate or not and if I should purchase the bench harness to re-read my ECU.

You don't need to buy a bench cable in case of the ECU ID.
We have patch / new patch / old / new protocol everything

For facelift EN ecu, do we need bench cable to reset adapt values in the diagnose menu? Or this can be done through obd port?

No, you don't need a bench cable in case of reset or diagnostic. it can be done via OBD.
